We are looking for a QC Inspector to join our GT Aero team in Aberdeen.

* Job Responsibilities:

*** Perform bulk and detail strip inspections of gas turbines and provide comprehensive defect reports
* Carry out stage inspections during engine builds to ensure compliance with quality standards
* Maintain and control workshop Control Order Files and associated documentation
* Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated, certified, and aligned with Quality Management System requirements
* Assist with shipping and receipt of materials to and from approved vendors, expediting sub-con activities efficiently
*
* Job Qualifications:

*** Previous experience in a similar inspection or mechanical quality role, ideally within a gas turbine environment
* Proven ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and illustrated parts catalogues
* Working knowledge of industrial or power gas turbines and associated components
* A minimum of NC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; HNC is preferred (or suitable proven experience in lieu of formal qualifications)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively with workshop and quality teams# What we offer you
