Because of continued demand for their services, this employer is actively recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working in the Service Department, the successful Mechanical Technician will work within a skilled team and be responsible for servicing, repairing and overhauling industrial gearboxes to an OEM condition.

This employer is based near CUMBERNAULD
, meaning the successful candidate will easily be able to commute from various parts of Glasgow & Falkirk.

• NOT ESSENTIAL:
  Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC, HND or equivalent)
• Stable work history with experience working as a Mechanical Technician, Fitter, Assembler or similar within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Ideally experience working with some form of rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, valves, compressors, turbines, fans or similar

Regular day shift working 39 hours per week.

• Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 17:00
• Friday - 08:00 to 15:45

• Starter Salary:
  Up to £35,000.00 (£17.25 per hour)
• Guaranteed bonus up to £2,600 paid in December
• Generous Pension Scheme: 25% Final Salary (Employer Contribution: 17% / Employee Contribution: 8%)
• Holiday Allowance: 34 Days (including public holidays) rising with continued service
