Digital Printing Apprentice

Overview

Digital Printing Apprentice - Glasgow. Eurostampa UK Ltd - a progressive print company specialising in high quality printing of labels, primarily for the Spirit Bottling Industry Whisky/Drinks Industry, has the following vacancy within our Digital Printing Department.

The successful candidate will work within our Pressure Sensitive Labels (Self Adhesive) Department and will be registered as a Modern Apprentice. You will study towards a nationally recognised Scottish Vocational Qualification certificate which will involve structured on and off the job training.

The role involves the production of digitally printed self-adhesive labels.

Note: This role will be based at our new site in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

• Computer literate
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
• Be self-motivated and able to use initiative
• Be an effective communicator, both written and verbal
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to work unsupervised and able to resolve problems/identify and implement improvements

• Complete Modern Apprenticeship in PRESS Web Fed Digital Printing Pathway to eventually run state of the art printing presses ABG
• Complete relevant units set by Attain Training (external training provider) in a timely manner and ensure all records and logbooks of work performed are maintained
• Ensure quality checks are carried out efficiently
• General machine maintenance
