BD Manager; Banks and FS

BD Manager – key account focused role aligned to the financial services sector in leading global law firm. London based with hybrid working. Salary up to £85,000.

This well-known global law firm is a real challenge to the magic circle and enjoys a great culture. It is looking for a business development manager to lead on client initiatives for the firm’s financial services sector. This includes their established Banking sector group, as well as looking at growth across Insurance, Asset Management and Fin Tech. The role will focus on UK and EMEA, but collaborate with colleagues in APAC and the US on client initiatives.

Specifically the role will involve:

• Driving the key client programme for the FS sector
• Key account managing a few select clients in the group
• Playing an advisory and coaching role to partners in their client relationship management activities
• Developing profile raising thought leadership for the group
• Building internal engagement from key stakeholders globally
• Identifying opportunities for growth from the key accounts
• Conducting client listening across the sector clients

You must have strong business development and client relationship management experience in a leading international professional services firm and be comfortable in a client facing role. Experience of the relevant sectors is highly desirable for this role.
