* To ensure all required products within the Polypipe Building Services portfolio are digitally programmed and measured to support:  + BIM/Revit modelling  + Product Evaluations  + Production QC inspection

* Proactively drive and coordinate specific QA processes/activities within Department whilst ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.  + Processes/activities    - Scanning/Measuring Arm (Faro)    - Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)    - Optical Measuring Machine (OMM)
* Conduct and coordinate defined Reverse Engineering evaluations to agreed specification within agreed timescales. Evaluations to include:  + Physical Measurement of product; using Measuring Arm and other equipment as required  + Weigh each scanned complete product and individual subcomponents to assist with ensuring actual product weights are accurate across all product information platforms  + Physical tests (Production tests)
* Conduct product evaluations and ensure thorough documentation, Evaluations to include:  + Review of product drawings against standard, creation, and maintenance of evaluation reports  + Physical Measurement of product; using Measuring Arm, CMM, and OMM where practicable  + Fit to mating parts
* Conduct/coordinate defined CMM and OMM programmes to agreed product drawing specification within agreed timescales. Programming to include:
* Liaise with other departments and/or direct team to ensure effective prioritising of workload.
* Organise/coordinate samples selection for Reverse Engineering, Product Evaluation and CMM/OMM programmes. Working alongside other departments where applicable
* Document completed Digital measuring and product evaluations, publish as required, and liaise with relevant departments
* Provide guidance on digital measurement for product related matters
* Quality Assurance production support for shop floor quality control
* Obtain latest product drawings, CAD/Pallet models and physical part to aid effective part programming and/or programme updates as applicable.
* Coordinate/liaise with equipment suppliers to outwork new product programme requirements where applicable.
* Liaise with suppliers technical support to resolve equipment issues.
* Validate measurement report information to ensure accuracy of information presented.
* Ability to be a team player (Humble, Hungry and Smart)
* Ability to plan and coordinate with supporting teams where applicable in order to realise objectives
* Ability to analyse processes, find and implement improvements including the design and documentation of new systems as well as training of operatives in new working methods
* Ability to read and interpret product drawings
* Competent in all aspects of product measurement within scope applicable to the Polypipe products
* Good working knowledge of Quality systems
* Working knowledge of Polypipe products
* Working Knowledge of CAD and Coordinate Systems
* Competent in accurately recording results of all evaluations in a clear legible manner consistent with the requirements of the respective standard.
* Competent in all aspects of evaluations within scope applicable to the role
* Competent in Measuring Arm, CMM and Optical Measuring Machines (Programmer Level).
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and IFS
* Good communication skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Good understanding of Environment, Health and Safety matters appertaining to the company
* Competent in all Test Methods applicable to Quality and Promote continual improvement through the use of processes and procedures whilst adopting and maintaining a long term quality culture.
