Field Service Engineer; Forklift Batteries

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of industrial batteries and related products. Operating within a number of industries, they are now looking to bring on a Field Service Engineer to work within their Motive Power division, covering the client base across Scotland. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background working on Forklift Batteries.

• Servicing the company’s client base across Scotland and Northern England on occasion
• Repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries and chargers used within the Material Handling industry
• Working alongside the other field-based engineers across Scotland to ensure maintenance is carried out efficiently
• Reporting back to the Service Manager with regular updates
• Representing the company in the right way on customer sites and always maintaining customer service

The company are ideally looking to bring on a candidate with a strong background of maintaining batteries within the Motive Power industry. It is essential that you hold suitable qualifications to align with the requirements of the job such as an NVQ, Diploma or similar. In terms of location, you will need to be based in the Central Belt of Scotland or very nearby.

You must also be willing to travel around the whole of Scotland with the occasional trip into Northern England.
