Part-Time Tutoring Opportunity - Oxbridge Admission ( Aerospace and Aerothermal Engineering )

Key Skills- Candidates with tutoring experience, or with teaching experience in the UK independent schools (KS2 to KS4), are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in specific subjects or areas of study.
- Ability to employ a wide range of training methods to engage learners and improve their scores.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and academic abilities.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organisational skills to effectively manage tutoring sessions and maintain accurate records.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and providing a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in a professional manner.
- Maintain the student’s confidentiality at all times with respect to private and personal information.
- Assess students’ abilities and academic needs, and provide a tuition timetable outlining dates and times for the agreed tuition period to QED and the student before the first lesson.
- Develop tuition plans that address the students' requirements.
- Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions that promote a deep understanding of the subject matter.
- Assess and review students’ homework and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor students' progress and track their academic performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student attendance and progress reports.
This is a part-time role under a direct Contract for Services with QED Education. Tutors will be self‑employed for tax purposes and are responsible for reporting and paying their own taxes and National Insurance contributions.
