Economics Teacher - Independent Day & Boarding School

Location: Yorkshire (coastal setting)
Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are currently supporting a well-established independent day and boarding school in Yorkshire with the appointment of an Economics Teacher from September 2026
.

The school educates pupils aged 3-18 and has approximately 475 pupils on roll. Set in a beautiful coastal location, it offers a warm and close-knit community, strong academic outcomes, and a thriving Sixth Form with excellent university destinations.

The school is now seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Economics specialist to teach across Key Stage 4 and Sixth Form.

• Hold a degree in Economics or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Economics at GCSE and post-16 level
  • Experience of the IB is desirable
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Economics
• Be committed to high academic standards and contributing to wider school life
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire motivated learners
