The RoleAs a Working Groundworks Supervisor, you will oversee daily site operations while actively contributing on site when required. You will ensure all groundworks activities are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating site teams and maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate groundworks operatives and subcontractors on site.
- Actively participate in groundworks, drainage, concrete, and foundation works as required.
- Ensure works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and deadlines.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Site/Project Manager.
- Assist with problem‑solving and provide technical guidance where required.
- Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets, deliveries, and daily diaries.
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor (or similar role).
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations, and concrete works.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant machine/plant tickets (essential).
- Willingness to work hands‑on on site as needed.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent rates of pay.
