Our regional offices of over 3000 colleagues operate collaboratively, combining collective expertise to maximise potential. || | Our Honley office is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team on a full-time basis, working Monday to Thursday (34 hours per week).
This role is ideal for someone with several years’ bookkeeping experience within practice who enjoys working closely with clients and managing a varied workload across VAT, general bookkeeping, and Making Tax Digital (MTD) for self-employed individuals.
You will play an important role in supporting our clients with accurate financial records and timely reporting, contributing to the smooth running of their businesses. || |
• VAT Returns
• Making Tax Digital for Self-Assessment
• Bank Reconciliations
• Reconciling Balance Sheet Items
• Liaising with Clients
• General Bookkeeping
• Producing Management Reports || |
• Previous experience in a bookkeeping role (practice experience preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Experience using cloud accounting software, ideally Xero (training can be provided)
• Understanding of VAT and MTD requirements
• AAT qualification (or studying towards) would be advantageous || |
• Ability to manage workload independently while working collaboratively within a team
• Strong attention to detail and a professional approach when dealing with clients || | Benefits
