Painter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Paint Prep / Sandblaster to join our team. This role requires experience in either paint preparation or sandblasting, and autobody experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and cleaning.
• Performing sandblasting to remove rust, paint, and other coatings from surfaces.
• Masking and taping off areas to be protected from paint or sandblasting.
• Mixing paints and other coatings according to specifications.
• Applying primers and sealers.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Assisting with other shop tasks as needed.

Skills/

Qualifications:

• Some experience required in either paint preparation or sandblasting.
• Autobody experience highly preferred.
• Ability to use sanding, grinding, and sandblasting equipment.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques.
• Ability to mix and apply paints and coatings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable and punctual.

Pay:

• $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
