We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Registration Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately registering patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, managing medical records, referrals, prior authorizations, collecting copays and patient account balances within a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires excellent communication skills in both written and verbal, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, a strong understanding of medical terminology and able to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Prior experience in medical/dental office, front desk operations is highly preferred. Billing and coding experience.
- Greet patients and visitors professionally, providing exceptional patient service at the front desk.
- Collect and verify patient demographic information and insurance details.
- Utilize EMR system eClinical
Works, to input and update patient data accurately. - Schedule appointments while managing multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including insurance verification and authorization processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Experience with insurance verification processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Processing of Insurance referrals, insurance prior authorizations and insurance eligibility.
- Previous experience working in a medical/dental office, clinic or hospital experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, especially eClinical

- Experience in medical/dental office, front desk operations or similar setting.
- Billing and coding experience is a plus.
