Job Overview

Starting salary $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience.

• Tool allowance $250 quarterly
• Boot allowance $200 twice a year

Monday–Friday 7 am–4 pm, no weekends.
Repair/maintenance shop at Cumberland, MD hauling site.

Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Estimate time and material costs.
Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
Respond to emergency breakdown calls.
Perform safety checks.
Complete required paperwork.
Assist senior mechanics on project work.
Review completion of repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards.

• 2 years relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to meet physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Pre‑employment drug screen and physical clearance

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and other occupational risks
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat and humidity in both indoor and outdoor conditions
