**** Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $27.77 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).*

**** Management Preferences:
** The geologist/hydrogeologist is responsible for all phases of incident management related to releases of petroleum and other regulated substances from USTs and releases of petroleum from non-UST sources. This will include review of inbound UST forms, site visits to investigate complaints, verify cleanup, conduct sampling, and provide regulatory oversight of other field activities.

The geologist/hydrogeologist provides a technical review of reports that include initial response and abatement, assessment, and corrective action activities followed by appropriate correspondence.

The geologist/hydrogeologist provides regulatory oversight of each incident to ensure compliance with general statues, rules, and guidance documents.

For non-compliant responsible parties, the geologist/hydrogeologist will prepare enforcement documents and provide testimony when necessary.

The geologist/hydrogeologist is responsible for ensuring timely and appropriate responses to incidents that pose imminent risk to human health or the environment.

The geologist/hydrogeologist may assist the Trust Fund Branch with review of preapproval forms.

The Geologist/hydrogeologist is responsible for communicating technical and regulatory information to stakeholders that include responsible parties, consultants, municipalities, other Divisions and Agencies, and the general public.

Finally, the geologist/hydrogeologist will log milestones and other pertinent information for each of their incidents in our internal incident database.
