Overview
Job Summary
: A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring that the load is correct and secure for transport.
- Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirements
- Package cabinets while moving down the assembly line and use a strapping machine to secure boxes for loading
- Use scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled
- Accurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and parts
- Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loading
- Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirements - Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
- Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
- Required Education And Experience
:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Required Physical Ability
:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing; regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lb
