Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes, observing and reporting conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, assisting with access issues, and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.;
Monitor access points and authorized areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor permissions, and directing individuals to the appropriate department while maintaining posted access requirements.;
Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate pertinent observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
