. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report security-related irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons, according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and/or law enforcement as required.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a visible presence on site to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
