Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM, Weekends: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Seeking an experienced Urgent Care RN with strong outpatient and emergency background to join a fast‑paced ambulatory setting. This role serves patients across the lifespan—infants through geriatrics—and requires confidence in independent assessment, IV starts, and emergency response. Floating within scope may be required.
Requirements- Active California RN license (in hand)
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- 2 years outpatient experience
- 1 year Urgent Care or ER experience
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
- Obtain and interpret 12‑lead EKGs
- Start IVs (adults & pediatrics)
- Administer IM, IV, SQ, and intradermal medications
- Perform splinting, wound care, sutures, and suture removal
- Assist with pelvic exams, pap smears, burn care, biopsies
- Provide nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Conduct point‑of‑care testing (strep, UA, glucose, pregnancy tests)
- Telephone triage and follow‑up patient education
