Travel RN
- Step-Down Unit (Contract Role)
Location: Culver City, CA 90232
Shift: 12-hr Shift
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $1,872 - $2,016; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to high-acuity individuals transitioning from ICU-level care.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage IV drips, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform frequent assessments and respond appropriately to abnormal vital signs or lab values.
- Educate patients and families about ongoing care and discharge planning.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and safety policies.
- Active RN License (California)
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent SDU or Telemetry experience
- Experience with ventilators, cardiac drips, and telemetry monitoring
