Travel RN
- Emergency Room (Night Shift)
Location: Culver City, CA 90232
Shift: 12-hr Nights | 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients presenting to the emergency room.
- Provide direct patient care including administering medications, wound care, and IV therapy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions, and communicate changes promptly to the medical team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document all nursing care and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
