OverviewWe are seeking an Account Executive to join our corporate affairs practice. This is a junior level position where you’ll work collaboratively with team members on key account projects and help organize the team around upcoming assignments. You will work as the right hand to mid‑levels on the team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of an account.
Responsibilities- Develop initial earned media strategies with guidance from Senior Account Executive/Account Manager; conduct proactive and reactive media relations outreach ongoing.
- Maintain regular and clear communication with team and client, owning account projects from start to finish and proactively flagging opportunities for clients.
- Build media relationships on behalf of the client and the agency.
- Draft press materials, speaker submissions, blog and social media content and bylines for review by a senior team member.
- Oversee junior team members and provide direction, edits, and support on assignments.
- Serve as a day‑to‑day client contact on smaller account teams, building strong relationships with client contacts.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the industry and competitors for every client to provide recommendations on strategies to internal colleagues and clients, as appropriate.
- Participate in new business pitch development and presentations, as appropriate.
- Promote and uphold Allison’s core values; participate in agency‑wide training and professional development programs.
- Prior experience as a junior employee in public relations, marketing, or a related field. Account Executives at Allison typically have a minimum of 2+ years of experience.
- Corporate affairs industry background and/or strong interest preferred.
- Self‑motivated, eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work.
- Strong writing skills.
- Critical thinking to help shape programs, advise junior team members, and make recommendations to clients.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Proficient with media monitoring and data analytics tools including Muckrack, Cision, Critical Mention, etc.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $55k-$75k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
