SR DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION – CHARLOTTE, NC

Competing for a critical leadership role at Morrison Healthcare, a division of Compass Group, serving over 600 hospitals and healthcare systems.

Salary: 105‑120 K, up to 35 K in bonus potential, relocation assistance.

The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day food service operations, managing a team of employees, maintaining client relationships, ensuring profitability, and driving talent development. This position is located in Charlotte, NC and requires relocation to the area.

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget, while providing the client with maximum value for the dollars spent.
• Ensure that the food offered to the client is of superior quality.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community.
• Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
• Two to four years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food‑cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
• Serv Safe® certification is a plus.
• Must be forward‑thinking, proactive, and serve as the face of the company.
