Technical Project Manager - Video Streaming

A leading digital media organization is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support video player and video advertising technology services that power large-scale digital platforms. Video is central to the organization’s media experience and this role will help ensure the reliable delivery and continuous improvement of the systems that support it.

  Culver City, CA (4x per week in-office); this is not a remote position
• Pay Rate: $75.00/hour

The Project Manager will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, QA and Platform teams to coordinate releases, manage delivery timelines and drive cross‑functional initiatives. This role requires strong familiarity with the software development lifecycle, the ability to facilitate effective meetings and the leadership skills to keep complex technical projects moving forward.

• Manage technical initiatives related to video player and video ad technology across web, mobile and connected TV platforms
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, QA and Platform teams to plan and deliver projects on time
• Coordinate release timing and cadence across multiple teams and platforms
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Create and maintain project documentation, schedules and status reporting for stakeholders
• Identify risks, dependencies and blockers while driving solutions that keep projects on track
• Manage communication with internal stakeholders, vendors and external partners
• Support cross‑team planning and ensure alignment with broader program and business goals

• 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management within digital product or media environments
• Experience working with video player technology, streaming platforms or ad tech integrations is required
• Experience managing cross‑platform services at scale (e.g., video, identity, APIs)
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with streaming QoE tools (e.g., Conviva, Mux, Bitmovin), analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Adobe Analytics) or ad platforms such as Google Ad Manager
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings, maintain reliable documentation and coordinate work across multiple teams
• Strong communication, accountability and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments
