About the RoleThis role is for someone who is a Tik Tok person to their core — not just familiar with the platform, but deeply fluent in its culture, pacing, humor, and trends. You’ll be responsible for ideating, filming, editing, posting, and growing Tik Tok content across multiple client accounts, while helping us refine and expand our Tik Tok management offering.
This is not a passive scheduling role. You’ll be expected to move quickly, pitch ideas proactively, and think like a creator and a strategist.
What You’ll Do Tik Tok Content Creation & Execution- Film and edit native, quick-cut Tik Tok content (iPhone-first, Cap Cut/in-app editing)
- Create high-volume, trend-aligned content that feels organic and authentic
- Repurpose content thoughtfully across Tik Tok, Reels, and Shorts when relevant
- Be comfortable on camera or directing others during filming
- Stay deeply tapped into Tik Tok trends, audios, formats, and creators
- Deliver a weekly trend report
- Recommendations tailored to each client brand
- Proactively pitch trend-based content ideas
- Grow Tik Tok audiences through strong hooks, posting cadence, format testing, and trend timing
- Monitor performance and optimize content based on what’s working
- Identify high-performing content and opportunities to scale it
- Assist with or manage boosting top-performing Tik Tok posts
- Support or lead Tik Tok Shop setup and management
- Understand how organic Tik Tok content supports conversion and revenue
- Assist with monthly Tik Tok strategy planning for multiple clients
- Bring ideas for how we can improve and evolve our Tik Tok management scope
- Help shape new Tik Tok deliverables, workflows, and creative formats
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align Tik Tok with broader marketing goals
- Communicate directly with clients regarding Tik Tok performance, ideas, and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather brand updates and campaign priorities
- Ensure deadlines are met and content remains on-brand across accounts
- Oversee select Instagram accounts as needed
- Write on-brand captions and manage scheduling/approvals
- 3+ years managing Tik Tok accounts for brands or creators (Tik Tok experience is a must)
- You are a Tik Tok-native creator, not just a social media manager
- Strong iPhone filming and fast-turn editing skills
- Deep understanding of Tik Tok trends, culture, and algorithm behavior
- Experience growing Tik Tok audiences organically
- Familiarity with boosting posts and Tik Tok Shop
- Ability to manage multiple clients while staying organized and proactive
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment
- Have worked with lifestyle, beauty, fashion, or consumer brands
- Can clearly articulate why content performs well on Tik Tok
- Love testing, iterating, and experimenting with new formats
- Are excited to help shape how an agency approaches Tik Tok long-term
