Technology Operations Engineer – Amazon Studios Technology
Amazon Studios Technology is looking for a Technology Operations Engineer to help drive the execution and improvement of key service delivery processes throughout the Studios organization.
The Technology Operations Engineer will have an excellent understanding of computer components (hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology.
Key Responsibilities- Support network, technology, software, and devices across Amazon Studios global productions.
- Provide first and second tier technical support, contribute to enterprise cross‑functional projects, and interact with software developers, executives, vendors, and other support teams.
- Conduct systems administration, troubleshooting, issue prioritization, root‑cause analysis, problem solving, and escalation across a variety of software and hardware environments.
- Drive the execution and improvement of key service delivery processes throughout the content production lifecycle and the global Studios organization.
- Support hardware devices, manage software applications, provide a positive customer‑service experience, and partner daily with cross‑functional partners.
- 4+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, Dev Ops, security administration, or network administration experience.
- 5+ years of Linux experience.
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience.
- Experience in Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell or equivalent.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP and DNS.
- Experience designing and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes to ensure they meet the standards for maintainability, scalability and security.
- Experience working in a 24/7 production environment.
- Experience with service‑oriented architecture and web services.
The Tech Ops teams support the Studios production personnel (cast and crew) and Studios business teams (content development, software engineering, content programming and marketing). We work in a team environment and regularly collaborate with studio production personnel and studio executives at all levels.

Amazon’s compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
