Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide Behavior Intervention/ABA services to children and adolescents in the school and home.
• Work closely with supervisors to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and/or Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Complete appropriate documentation and data collection.
• Work cooperatively with other paraprofessionals and licensed staff to facilitate positive interventions.

• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) with a variety of individuals including teachers, clients, and parents, in a respectful and effective manner.
• Work independently and as part of a team and follow instructions of supervisor.
• Think critically and manage time efficiently.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Outlook).
• Maintain a professional image and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Be intelligent, flexible, energetic, and dedicated.
• Familiarity with ABA preferred but not necessary and/or experience working with children.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma Minimally (Associate’s Degree Preferred).
• Pass DOJ/FBI background clearance.
• Provide evidence of a negative TB test.
• Obtain and maintain NCI, First Aid, and CPR certification.
• Work onsite at either ECF Headquarters or at an LAUSD school; motorcycles are not permitted while driving for ECF, but may be used to commute to and from your home to the main worksite.
• Driving is an essential function of this position. Proof of valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, evidence of state-mandated car insurance, and insurable driving record are required. While driving for work should a need arise,
  the employee’s insurance is deemed primary and ECF’s coverage is secondary.
