Senior Financial Analyst, Global Media and Entertainment FP&A

Overview

is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a high visibility role supporting Amazon's Prime Video leadership team. Opportunities abound for impactful analysis, process improvement, and scope expansion. Primary responsibilities will include ownership of headcount and operating expense forecasting and planning. The right candidate will have exceptional financial modeling skills and the ability to think big about opportunities and challenges facing the business.

• Own headcount and operating expense forecasting and planning.
• Eager to learn about the drivers of the Prime Video business and comfortable interacting with and influencing senior video business leaders.
• Utilize strong financial modeling skills to identify opportunities and challenges and Think Big about solutions.
• Influence business partners through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and presentation of alternatives.
• Think and act quickly under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Develop and deliver recommendations based on superior financial and strategic analysis.
• Anticipate the business demands of senior-level managers and thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding high professional standards.

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
