We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented EV Charging Compliance & Service Technician to support Weights & Measures compliance testing and EV charging equipment service operations. Aboutthe Role
The EV Charging Compliance & Service Technician is a hands‑on, entry‑to‑mid level role responsible for onsite Weights & Measures compliance testing and supporting EV charging equipment service operations, including charger and network hardware RMA processing. This role is primarily onsite in Culver City with minimal local travel. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical and technical aptitude, and an interest in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and EV charging systems.
Key Responsibilities Weights & Measures Compliance Testing- Perform compliance testing on EV charging equipment in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
- Accurately record measurements, test results, and supporting documentation.
- Support audit readiness, certification, and regulatory review activities.
- Receive, inspect, and process returned EV chargers and network equipment (RMAs).
- Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify equipment issues.
- Track serial numbers, inventory status, and RMA documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and support teams regarding equipment issues and resolutions.
- Maintain organized work spaces, tools, test equipment, and inventory records. Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational, warehouse and compliance objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Entry‑to‑mid level experience in a hands‑on technical, lab, warehouse, QA, or field service environment.
- Weights & Measures compliance experience (highly preferred).
- Experience with EV charging equipment, electrical systems, or energy‑related hardware preferred.
- RMA processing, equipment testing, or hardware support experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and accurately document results.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, internal systems).
- Experience leveraging AI LLMs in process optimization preferred.

- Physical Ability:
Stand and walk for extended periods during testing and equipment handling. Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment up to 50 lbs. - Ability to listen, read, organize thoughts, analyze, and communicate (both verbally and in writing, in English, in a concise and professional manner).
- Ability to type on a keyboard and utilize computer work tools consistently and proficiently (including MS Office Suite or equivalent).
- Timely communication and responsiveness to peers and management.
- Regular and consistent attendance to work and meetings.
