We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Sr. Project Manager to lead complex projects. In this role, you will oversee design and delivery of critical HVAC and building systems for a variety of projects including healthcare facilities, residential, commercial, aviation, and many others. You’ll manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate directly with clients, and drive quality assurance from concept through construction, delivering safe, efficient, and patient‑centered solutions.

You’ll Do
  • Project team leadership and budget management as Project Manager with approval. Utilize tools and resources for project planning, forecasting, progress tracking
  • Technical leadership of PAE’s design scope as Lead Engineer and/or Engineer of Record (EOR) with approval
  • Improve the technical operations of the company
  • Active engagement in PAE’s success
  • Interview for projects
  • Effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Present to clients, staff and at industry events
  • Provide mentorship, training and development for staff
  • Significant involvement in company standards and improve company processes
  • Enforce the project quality management plan (QMP)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Inspire and motivate staff
  • Effective leadership and people skills
  • Lead and manage projects successfully and profitably
  • Demonstrate commitment to PAE
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for the company
  • Project leadership skills including billing, reporting, resource allocation and scheduling
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Revit/AutoCAD
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in healthcare projects
  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • Relevant professional credential within discipline (PE, CPD, RCDD, etc.)
  • Significant experience in a management or leadership role
What We Offer

Hiring Base Salary Range: $124,500–$175,900 annual.

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package. We consider a variety of factors including skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location. Roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance.
