We're seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team to help reimagine how premium video content is made using breakthrough multi-modal AI capabilities. Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios is inventing an AI-powered creative suite that supports end-to-end production: ideation, storyboarding, character design, animation, scene composition, localization, and real-time iteration -- built for professional creators and studios.

As a Design Manager, you’ll lead a team of Design Technologists to transform ambiguous concepts into high-fidelity interactive prototypes and creative concepts that clarify requirements, validate model capabilities, and accelerate delivery across the production pipeline. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product, Engineering, Science, and Studio leaders in a high-ownership, “startup within Amazon” environment focused on creator delight and production-grade workflows.

We’re especially interested in candidates who’ve built tools for animation and managed and/or worked in creative roles (e.g., technical artist, animator, etc.) and who are comfortable bridging traditional digital content creation pipelines and tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Unreal, etc.) with modern AI-native creative solutions.

• 6+ years of design experience
• 3+ years of leading design teams experience
• Experience managing teams
• Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
