Position OverviewThe Apple TV team is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and resourceful Manager of Corporate Communications. This role will develop and deliver strategic communications for Apple’s original video subscription service, Apple TV, featuring original shows, movies, and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute announcements, program deals, and momentum activities for Apple’s streaming service.
- Write and develop thoughtful pitches and press materials, and draft and manage announcements and media briefings.
- Identify and handle issues across global productions in a continuous news cycle.
- Collaborate with production partners, producers, talent representatives, and executives to accomplish goals, simplifying key priorities and opportunities.
- Execute projects with steadfast attention to detail, translating customer experience insights into highly relevant and engaging communications.
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications at a film or television studio, network, streaming platform, or at a PR agency specifically servicing film/television studios, networks, or streaming programming.
- Experience developing and handling corporate communications, programming partnerships, launches, and momentum programs.
- Established, positive relationships in the entertainment, trade, business, and consumer space, along with a proven track record of developing and placing stories.
- Effective collaborator capable of working cross-functionally across teams and geographies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Adept at leading communications from start to finish.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, able to develop pitches and press materials.
- Ability to quickly analyze media coverage and sentiment and apply insights.
- Previous experience driving successful communications programs in entertainment.
- Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under short timelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter demonstrating creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of industry trends and the television/film landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $139,800 and $260,800, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees can become shareholders through discretionary employee stock programs, participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and may receive discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation assistance.
