Purpose Wild Card Creative is looking for a freelance Producer. Wild Card Creative Producers are responsible for managing high level creative campaigns inclusive of theatrical/streaming/TV trailers, broadcast spots, digital/social spots, content/featurettes and everything in between. Producers are the driving forces behind our Creative Directors and are responsible for creative strategy development and campaign planning with Editorial, Motion Graphics, Copywriting and Music departments.

Producers are responsible for managing and communicating with internal Operations, Finishing, and creative teams to produce high quality client deliverables within the client s timelines. Producers are the right hand to our Creative Directors and serve as a point of contact to our clients to ensure the client s vision is well-executed from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Provides creative ideas and strategy on all assigned projects, including writing, editorial notes, graphics feedback, music feedback etc.
  • Articulate and pitch creative concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Write detailed notes of feedback/direction and delegate that information in a clear and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for monitoring the accuracy and completion of all phases of the creative process, such as asset gathering, graphic creation and approvals, writing, music, offline/online editorial, and final deliverables ensuring completion at each stage is within project timeline.
  • Forecast and communicate project needs with all internal departments (music, graphics, operations, AEs, etc.) and executives.
  • Proactively monitor project campaign health — flagging delays, roadblocks, or resourcing needs early and to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Independently and proactively works to ensure projects are moving forward on time and on schedule.
  • Manages final deliverables to clients and creative partners, adhering to schedules and deadlines as well as ensuring to review and quality control all deliverables before release.
  • Write copy and/or evaluate copy for campaigns as needed – in all forms (trailer, TV, tag lines, etc)
  • Screen Features (as needed) on assigned projects, breakdown features, and find usable shots and dialogue. If no feature is available, screen dailies or read scripts and take notes, as well as staying on top of any relevant campaign research and/or updates.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations to manage internal resources
  • Work closely with Editors on perfecting cuts
Required Skills
  • 4+ years experience as Producer leading high level creative campaigns inclusive of theatrical/streaming/TV trailers, broadcast spots, digital/social spots, content/featurettes and everything in between.
  • Strong portfolio of work showing creative invention and innovation with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas in AV, broadcast and digital content.
  • Proven success in project management and execution across all forms of media.
  • Experience managing a project team w/the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and able to remain calm to keep the team calm in a high pressure environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills both creatively and organizationally.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage the pressures of multiple projects w/competing deadlines; highly detailed oriented and meticulous.
  • Has a passion for films and TV, visual storytelling and a drive to create innovative entertainment marketing.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable using both Google Suite and Microsoft programs (excel, word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Asana, Adobe Premiere and Filemaker Pro, a plus
