Full-Time Assisted Living Nurse Manager

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Assisted Living Nurse Manager will work under the direction of the Assisted Living Administrator and will work closely with other departments to facilitate superior care and services for our residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. This position manages clinical team members in Assisted Living only and is an integral part of a team whose energy, compassion, and creativity and talents are valued and rewarded.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice as an RN or LPN in Virginia
  • 1-3 years of clinical and supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations in Virginia
  • Certified in UAIs/ISPs or ability to learn within 6 months
  • Able to handle complex issues with sound clinical judgement and expertise
  • Proficient with use of Electronic medical records, scheduling software and other MS Office computer programs
  • Able to consistently demonstrate compassion, integrity and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess exceptional organizational, customer service, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of geriatric care/the aging process and an understanding of practices, procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate, foster relationships, and promote a high functioning team.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with families, residents and staff
