As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the sanitary condition of the facility and filling in for 1 to 2 operating positions in the plant. To succeed, you must be able to:

• Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs, and outside grounds.
• Specialized cleaning tasks such as, but not limited to bin cleanings, sifter, and filter sock changes.
• Special duties assigned by management.
• Basic process maintenance.
• Cross‑train in at least one other operator job.
• Understand and follow all personnel and equipment safety policies; sanitation policies; follow all corporate policies and procedures.
• Ascend and descend stairs throughout the facility.
• Climb ladders (both step and extension).
• Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, gloves) and task‑specific PPE (respiratory protection, goggles, etc.).
• Follow verbal and written instructions (English).
• Communicate with peers and supervisors (English).

• Must be willing and able to work additional hours, which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
• Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team environment.

• Minimum basic computer knowledge and skills.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work outside in the elements.

Competitive Compensation:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experience. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $16.20 - $21.55, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved.
