Our MissionAt Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), we empower individuals and strengthen communities. We’re searching for a dedicated Behavior Technician I or II to provide compassionate care for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs at our short‑term Adult Transitional Home in Culpeper, VA.
Schedule OptionsMonday – Friday, 3 p‑11 p (full‑time)
Your Role in Our Mission- Lead daily programs and group activities designed to promote growth, engagement, and skill development.
- Provide rehabilitative interventions and implement therapeutic strategies to help guests achieve their goals.
- Assist with personal care to ensure safety and dignity.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, referral sources, and families to deliver consistent, compassionate, and coordinated care.
- Provide education, guidance, and a judgment‑free, supportive environment where every voice is heard.
- Support our Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home located nearby, as needed.
- Maintain daily documentation and reporting in our electronic health system of record.

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive Rate: $19 – $24 / hr based on experience and BT level.
- Sign‑on and retention bonus paid at 3, 6, and 12 months for full‑time new hires.
- Paid training: CPR / first‑aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, and Seizure Management.

- Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health disorders required.
- Education for BT I:
High School diploma and behavior‑health experience.
BT II:
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field, or QMHP trainee, or qualified mental‑health‑professional trainee approved within 30 days of hire. - Maintain valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles used for work.
