Hgv Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver in the Cullompton area. You will be delivering goods across the South West. Some handballing will be required.

Temp to perm for the right candidate.

Job Role:

Monday to Friday

Full time

You will be responsible for loading and driving rigid vehicles, ensuring all of the customers have their orders successfully

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.

Duties:

* Providing the customer with an excellent delivery service and high standard of customer care

* Ensuring all goods are delivered in a safe working manner, minimising any delivery damage

* Adhering to the statutory driving procedures and code of practice at all times

* Complete daily safety checks on the vehicle and adhere to road safety at all times

* Assist the warehouse team to load the vehicles and general care of the vehicles

* Applicants must have a full HGV class 2 license

Hours are 7am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break, Monday-Friday (no weekends). Overtime is also available before/after shifts.

Once permanent:

Monthly attendance bonuses, yearly bonuses and first aid/fire Marshall pay are available on top.
