A rewarding local care role at the heart of rural communities. Beehive Care Devon supports people living in rural villages to stay safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes. We believe care should never feel rushed — and neither should carers. We’re a family‑feel, community‑focused care and training provider who invest in you with proper training, mentoring and a supportive team.
You’ll be paid for your whole shift — including travel time and gaps between visits — so you can focus on delivering meaningful care without watching the clock.
Shift patterns that suit rural life. We offer regular, consistent shift patterns, ideal for carers covering village routes:
- 7:00am – 2:00pm
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
- 4:00pm – 10:00pm
A variety of shifts is preferred but not essential. Alternate weekend availability is essential, covering at least two shifts per weekend.
Flexible and salaried contracts — choose what works for you. Contract options designed around real life:
- Salaried contracts – guaranteed pay for your full shift (minimum 3 shifts per week, including alternate weekends; no unpaid gaps, cancellations or travel time).
- Flexible contracts – pay-per-contact, starting from £13.00 per hour; enhanced pay for evenings and weekends; casual work with no fixed weekly hours.
- All carers receive 45p per mile travel allowance on top of their wage — whichever contract you choose.

Cullompton, Culmstock, Hemyock and surrounding villages. We plan routes carefully to keep them local, manageable and familiar, wherever possible.
