As a Support Worker you will join an inclusive team that works together to provide care to people with a range of mental health conditions. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly, updating patient records and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. Work in a challenging environment requires a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance, but the reward of seeing people improve makes it highly fulfilling.

Work in an 18‑bed unit that creates a pathway for patients to step down through recovery. Ivy is a 6‑bed admission area and Rose is a 12‑bed rehabilitation area (with the option to flex within the 12‑bed area to a four‑bed section). The service supports women to improve self‑worth, build a quality of life and develop skills for community living.

12.5‑hour days, 3–4 days a week including nights and weekends – 37.5 hours per week.
