We are seeking a CNC Machinist (Set Up Relief Operator) at our Cudahy, WI facility to work 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm, with training held on 1st shift for 60-90 days, Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm. This position is responsible for all complete setups of CNC machines and running them on a relief basis.
Position responsibilities include:
- Follows engineering setup charts to perform initial assembly of tools
- Performs complete disassembly of jobs
- Arranges tooling
- Interprets program to install all tools in the machine and establish and put in offsets
- Performs complete machining of first piece
- Verifies all dimensions on machines to corresponds with drawing
- Running machines in a relief basis
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Ability to read blueprints
- 5-7 years of CNC experience
- Machining certificate preferred

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or
- At least 5 years of previous CNC operation experience.
- Experience as a CNC Vertical Turning Center Operator/Machinist
- Experience with metal forgings
- Machining Certification.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently to achieve goals and objectives
- Strong knowledge of basic machining principles, GD&T and ability to read blueprints
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments and gauges to ensure proper setups and machining operations
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
