Transportation - TJA is searching for a Dispatcher to assist with dispatching and various duties in the office. This is a full-time position. This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Essential Functions- Dispatching
- Answering phones & customer service
- Daily set up for PM coverage of routes/trips
- Email communications/Faxing
- Filing trip slips/logs/route sheets
- Data Entry
- Bidding and Reposts (weekly)
- Coverage of AM dispatch as needed
- Driving duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suites
- Strong keyboarding/typing skills
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise confidentiality, good judgment, and discretion
- Ability to work efficiently and positively under pressure
- Ability to multi-task
- B CDL with school bus permit or willingness to get it
- Knowledge of local school district boundaries preferred
