Concessions Server

Overview

Looking for a fun job where you can build real-world skills, work with a great team, and serve your community? Join the Crystal Lake Park District as a Concession Server and be part of the action! (Seasonal | Approx. 16–30 hours/week)

• Preparing and serving food in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service.
• Handling cash accurately and completing deposits and paperwork.
• Opening and closing your assigned area following established procedures.
• Keeping work areas clean and compliant with health codes.
• Watching for and reporting safety concerns.
• Working cooperatively with coworkers from Aquatics, Athletics, and other departments.
• Maintaining a neat appearance and wearing the assigned uniform.
• Rotating stock using FIFO (first in, first out).
• Completing shift logs and following timekeeping policies.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned.

• Are 16 years of age or older.
• Are dependable and able to multitask.
• Can accurately count money and make change.
• Are comfortable completing basic paperwork.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Can obtain Food Service Certification within two weeks of hire.
• Take pride in being professional, responsible, and safety-minded.

• Hours vary based on weather and attendance
• This is a seasonal position, March - August.
