Randall Oaks Animal Hospital opened in June 2002 and is a small animal practice located in Carpentersville, IL. Our veterinarians provide preventative care and compassion to pets and their owners.

Carpentersville is a scenic community along the Fox River in northern Illinois. The area offers parks, forest preserves, affordable housing, successful businesses, and great schools.

We are a two‑doctor practice seeking a full‑time or part‑time veterinarian. Clinical interests include internal medicine, general surgery, and dentistry. We mentor new graduates, partner with a local rescue for shelter medicine, and plan to expand our facility.

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel around pet end‑of‑life care.
• Maintain patients’ medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant policies.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited AVMA institution.
• State veterinary licensure and eligibility for DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; assistance needed for >25 pounds.
