Looking for a fun, rewarding summer job where you can work with kids, be part of a supportive team, and bring smiles to faces every day? Join us as an Extended Time Camp Counselor and help create a safe, happy, and engaging environment for children before and after camp each day!
- Season:
May – August - Schedule:
Monday–Friday- Morning Shift: 6:15 AM – 8:45 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 6:15 PM
This role is perfect for students or anyone looking to gain hands‑on experience working with children while keeping evenings and weekends mostly free!
💛 What You’ll DoAs an Extended Time Camp Counselor, you’ll work closely with the Site Supervisor to help deliver fun, structured programming that supports children’s growth and well‑being. You’ll:
- Welcome campers and help them transition smoothly into activities
- Jump in and actively participate in games, crafts, and group activities
- Help set up, organize, and clean up supplies and activity spaces
- Assist with snack preparation and clean‑up
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Keep safety a top priority and assist with incident documentation if needed
- Communicate positively with parents and staff
- Help with basic site safety checks
We’re looking for caring, dependable, and energetic team players who enjoy working with children and bringing positive energy to each day.
Qualifications:- At least 15 years old with a valid work permit
- Experience working with children is a plus (but not required!)
- CPR/AED certification preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
- A friendly, patient, and responsible attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to multitask and follow through
- A genuine interest in helping children grow
- A customer-service mindset for kids, families, and coworkers
This role is active and hands‑on! You should be comfortable:
- Being on your feet, moving, lifting, and assisting participants as needed
- Working both indoors and outdoors
- Being around noise, activity, and large groups of children
- Build leadership and childcare experience
- Make a positive impact in your community
- Be part of a fun, supportive summer team
- Create memories that last long after summer ends
