Workshop Heavy Plant Foreman
Location: Keston
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Heavy Plant Foreman to oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy plant and equipment within a busy workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise workshop fitters and technicians
- Plan and manage servicing, maintenance, and repairs of heavy plant
- Ensure all work meets health, safety, and compliance standards
- Diagnose faults and provide hands‑on technical support
- Manage job scheduling, records, and parts availability
- Proven experience in a heavy plant or plant maintenance supervisory role
- Strong mechanical knowledge (hydraulics, diesel engines, electrics)
- Leadership and team management skills
- Safety-focused with strong organisational ability
- Mechanical or plant engineering qualification
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
