Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of automation and control projects across multiple data centre sites in the London region.
Oversee design, installation, and commissioning of PLC/SCADA control systems (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider platforms).
Manage ongoing service contracts, ensuring uptime, resilience, and compliance with data centre standards.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to project and service engineers.
Develop automation strategies that improve system performance, energy efficiency, and scalability.
Act as a key client interface, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Required Experience:

Proven background managing automation or control system projects within data centres, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical environments.
Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across project delivery and service operations.
Excellent client-facing and commercial management skills.
Strong technical foundation in system integration, commissioning, and controls design.
Ability to work autonomously, make confident decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
