About the role:

Are you a seasoned childcare professional with a passion for leading high-quality care in an ofsted-regulated setting? We’re seeking a dedicated team leader to lead our children’s residential home, ensuring a nurturing, safe, and empowering environment for young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously held roles in a children's residential home or children & young persons setting.

What you’ll need:

To be considered, candidates must have:

Level 3 in residential childcare (or equivalent)

A driving licence is strongly favourable

Proven experience in a children’s residential care home

Strong understanding of ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory frameworks

Key responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support your team with consistency and compassion

Build trusted relationships with families, local authorities, and external agencies

Champion best practices in safeguarding, care planning, and reporting

Drive continuous improvement and maintain a homely, child-centred environment
