Johns Architectural Metal Solutions Inc. (JAM Solutions) is an innovative company specializing in facades and architectural metal fabrication and installation. Established in 2016 and based in Northwest Indiana, the company provides a range of custom metal products like wall panels, sunshades, canopies, and screen walls, as well as tensioned mesh screens. JAM has expanded its capabilities to meet market demands and serves clients across the Midwest and beyond with quality-focused, tailored solutions.

This is a full-time, on-site Journeyman role. Office based in Crown Point, IN but projects throughout the Midwest. The Journeyman will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of metal architectural components such as panels, sunshades, and custom products. Daily responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to project timelines and safety standards.

• Proficiency in metal fabrication, assembly, and installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in metalworking
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a construction or fabrication setting
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, kneeling, and working at heights
• Previous experience in architectural metalworking is a plus
