ICU Registered Nurse k

Overview

Come join our excellent patient care team! Promote and restore patient health by delivering individualized care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Performs tasks such as:

• Establishing a compassionate environment acknowledging and attending to physiological and psychological needs
• Closely monitoring status of patient under his/her care
• Observing patient, recording significant conditions and reactions, and notifying healthcare team as needed of patient’s condition
• Educating patient on procedures and treatments to gain cooperation, understanding and allay apprehension

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Indiana
• One (1) or more years hospital staff nursing experience
• Recent experience in ICU
• Telemetry certified
• Current Healthcare BLS and ACLS certification

Highly Preferred

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN)
• Two (2) or more years hospital staff nursing experience
• TB and IV certification (or willing to obtain within department guidelines)
