Mind Care Solutions is a clinician‑owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health solutions for acute care facilities. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and growth‑oriented Board‑Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and collaborative group. Ideal candidate has strong inpatient and substance abuse experience, is comfortable working with high acuity patients and is looking to lead the behavioral health unit.

Compensation: up to $68 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: M-F, dayshift

Location: Dyer, IN

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate a patients' mental health status. Inpatient BHU experience preferred.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findings
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options
• Candidate needs to be comfortable working with comorbid diagnosis (substance use disorder and mental illness).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary
• Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects
• Ability to perform telehealth visits to patients located on medical floor and/or ED units at other partnering facilities.
• Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Offers education and support to patients regarding mental health conditions and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions

• Valid license as a Registered Nurse;
  Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in IN
• Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
• Inpatient BH unit experience preferred
• Child & Adolescent Experience Preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist
• Active and unrestricted driver’s license
