Travel Nurse Source  is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Crown Point, Indiana, 46307.

Experience:

Labor and delivery management of labor, experience with fetal scalp electrode (FSE), experience with intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC), epidural care.

Description:

Unit profile includes an exceptional understanding of the labor and delivery unit. The unit has 11 labor beds and 16 postpartum beds. There are 2 operating rooms and 2 recovery bays available. Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:3 during labor and 1:6 to 1:8 postpartum. Equipment used in the unit includes fetal monitoring systems, infant warmers, FSE, and IUPC. Electronic medical record system used is EPIC.

The team is focused on providing quality care to laboring mothers, antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and gynecological surgery patients. Candidates should be team-oriented, hardworking, and able to manage emergency situations. Willingness to step in and help others on the team is encouraged. Dress code includes scrubs.
